Milio Quick Guide – Abilities, Tips and Tricks for Beginners
Champion At a Glance
Milio is a ranged-enchanter support that prefers to buff his allies from afar as he increases their range, boosts their damage, and helps them survive through it all! With the power of his warm campfire, Milio turns any auto-based champion into a hyper-carry. On top of this, should the enemy dare to CC your ally, he can quickly set them free with his Breath of Life!

Strengths
- Milio’s Warm Hugs (E) allow him & his carry to take aggressive trades in the laning phase. Between the shield and the bonus damage from Fired Up (Passive), it’s hard to contest them.
- Breath of Life (R) is an amazing counter to CC heavy champions such as Ashe, Varus, Leona, and Skarner
- Milio is excellent at buffing up and empowering a single ally. This can make champions like Kog’maw or Jinx into monsters later on, as they’ll gain significant bonus range & movement speed.
Weaknesses
- Milio’s Ultra Mega Fire Kick (Q) is his only real disengage ability & it has a long cooldown. If he misses it, he becomes extremely vulnerable.
- He is incredibly squishy and is easily blown up by kill lanes & assassins
- Milio has long cooldowns on all of his abilities. If he wastes any of them, it’s easy to punish him for it.
Skill Breakdown
Passive Ability – FIRED UP
Milio’s abilities enchant allies on touch, making their next spell or attack deal a burst of extra damage and burn the target.
Q Ability – ULTRA MEGA FIRE KICK
Milio kicks a ball that knocks back an enemy. On hit, the ball bounces behind the target, damaging and slowing enemies in the area upon impact.
W Ability – COZY CAMPFIRE
Milio creates an empowering zone that heals allies and increases Attack Range for those inside. The zone follows the ally nearest to the cast point unless recast on another ally.
E Ability – WARM HUGS
Milio tosses a shield to himself or an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed. He can hold up to 2 charges of Warm Hugs.
R (Ultimate) Ability – BREATH OF LIFE
Milio unleashes a wave of soothing flames that heal and remove crowd control effects from allies in range. Allies affected will also gain Tenacity for a short duration afterward.
Tips and Tricks
Tip #1 – One Sided Trade
In the early game, Milio is able to take very one-sided trades by using bush vision as well as his Warm Hugs (E)! Make sure to use your shield before the enemy attack hits you so that you can strike back for free.
Tip #2 – Tenacity Boost
As Milio, the enemy may look to focus you with their CC. If you can’t dodge it, you can use your ultimate right before you’re CC’d to boost your Tenacity so you’re stunned for significantly less time!
Tip #3 – Built-In Aimbot
Milio’s Ultra Mega Fire Kick (Q) has built-in aim-assist once it hits a minion or champion. This can often let you catch enemies off guard by poking them with a hard-to-dodge Q since it’ll track their movement!
