Legend Overview

Fuse is a legend that focuses purely on the offense with explosive ordinances. His passive can be very strong, allowing him to bring more grenades to the fight and deploy them further. However, his main abilities Knuckle Cluster and The Motherlode can be extremely underwhelming, and struggle to find value.

Strengths

• Fuse can carry double the grenades that other legends can due to his passive Grenadier. On top of this, he can also launch grenades further as another perk of this passive.
• His ultimate The Motherlode can be used to section teams off, and any players caught inside of it will be revealed until they escape its fiery clutches.

Weaknesses

• Fuse’s Knuckle Cluster is an underwhelming ability that can be difficult to land.
• The Motherlode can struggle to find value because of its long deployment time and awkward placement on vertical terrain.

Skill Breakdown

Class – Assault

Fuse is a member of the Assault Class. Assault Class legends can carry 20 extra ammo per stack (5 extra for Shotgun, 12 for Sniper). Assault Class Legends can also access Assault Bins. These give you ‘smart loot’ weapon attachments. This includes one guaranteed scope every time.

Passive Ability – Grenadier

Fuse can stack an extra grenade per inventory slot and fires grenades further and faster than other legends.

Tactical Ability (Q) – Knuckle Cluster

Fuse launches a cluster bomb that deploys airburst explosives upon impact. These bursts stay active for 6 seconds and can be stuck to enemy players.

Ultimate Ability (Z) – The Motherlode

Fuse launches a ring of flames at a target area. This ability can be fired from long distances and marks enemies caught inside. If enemies come into contact with the flames they will suffer 35 damage and apply a 5-second burn effect.

Tips and Tricks

Tip #1 – Stacking Nades

Anyone playing Fuse should stock up on grenades! Fuse can carry 2 grenades per stack, whereas most legends can only carry one per stack. Ordinances are very strong in Apex Legends and, when placed properly, can single-handedly win you fights. If you’re actively playing Fuse, look to pick up as many grenades as possible and use them to make opponents stay on the move and play from a disadvantageous position. This tip alone will win you way more fights, simply by using grenades.

Tip #2 – Knuckle Up

Fuse’s tactical ability Knuckle Cluster is a great tool to deal damage to enemies, as most players know. But one of the most powerful parts of this ability is the fact that the blast range is so wide and the damage is consistent so that it can be used as a strong zoning tool. Use this ability to block doorways, and entryways and pin enemies into an unfavorable position.
