Overall, Wraith is a very balanced legend who brings plenty of value to most team compositions.

Strengths

  • Wraith is a very self-sufficient legend with her tactical ability Into the Void which can get her out of most sticky situations.

Wraith is warned by a voice when danger approaches. This voice will warn Wraith of enemy traps, nearby enemies, or when enemies are aiming directly at her.

Tactical Ability (Q) – Into the Void

Wraith can reposition quickly through the safety of void space, avoiding all damage. This ability has a short 1.25-second animation before its effects take place. After activation, Wraith becomes invincible and gains a 30% speed boost.

Ultimate Ability (Z) – Dimensional Rift

Wraith begins opening a portal when this ability is activated. After traveling a distance within Wraith’s Rift Energy, reactivate this ability to place the second portal entrance. Once linked, players can enter this portal to teleport between the two entry points. Wraith can use her tactical ability Into the Void while placing portal entrances.

Tips and Tricks

Tip #1 – Voiding Your Escape Warranty

Wraith’s tactical ability Into the Void is a fantastic tool for escaping bad situations. However, you have to be conscious of the short animation that takes place before the immunity kicks in. Wraith players often go into a fight, overextend, and then find themselves knocked because of this animation. For newer Wraith players, get used to this animation and how much distance you need from opponents to escape bad situations safely.

Tip #2 – Practice Makes Perfect

Look no further than this tip for intermediate Wraith players looking to expand their playbook regarding her utility. Wraith’s ultimate ability Dimensional Rift is a versatile tool that can be used for many situations. Examples are creating a portal for teammates to rotate, saving a downed teammate, and even teleporting enemy players into your teammates’ line of sight. The last 2 uses mentioned will take the most practice because risk is involved. If you want to get used to how they work, consider going into the Firing Range and practicing with friends.
