Agent Overview
Archetype | Playstyle | Difficulty | Tier List Rank |
---|---|---|---|
Initiator | Entry | Hard | A Tier |
- Breach is a very disruptive agent that can wreak havoc on his opponents. Breach’s Flash Point is great for opening sites and creating space for his team. Pair that with his Aftershock and Fault line, and you can force enemies to reposition entirely or face serious crowd control and damage. Finally, Breach’s Rolling Thunder forces all enemies to run away, or face a crippling concussion effect. Overall Breach is a very powerful agent, that when piloted correctly can completely take over a game. However, if you put Breach into an inexperienced player’s hands; this agent can be underwhelming and self-destructive.
Strengths

- Breach can completely disrupt any bomb site with his Fault Line and Rolling Thunder abilities.
- He has very wide flashes that can completely blind any player who’s caught off guard.
- Breach is fantastic for post-plant situations with all of his disruptive abilities.
Weaknesses
- Breach can struggle without proper information, so in lower levels of play, it can be frustrating to play this agent.
- He relies heavily on lineups and coordinated pushes with teammates.
- Breach, similar to most flash agents, can oftentimes blind his teammates if the player operating him isn’t observant of their teammates.

Tips and Tricks
Tip #1 – The Afterplant Aftershock
Breach’s kit holds a lot of powerful utility that can be used to great effect in post-plants. Each of his abilities when placed properly can force an enemy to get off the bomb, and take cover. The reason this tip is so strong is due to the fact that it allows the Breach player to take a safer position and not have to take a straight-on gunfight where he risks dying. This video shows one great example of how powerful Breach’s utility can be in post-plant situations, but there are many ways to be creative with his extremely disruptive abilities.
Tip #2 – Combo Clearing
One major aspect of Breach that most players don’t think about is how his utility can be used to set up his teammates. In this clip, you can see that the Breach sits back and uses his ultimate Rolling Thunder on the A bomb site. Before he used this ultimate, Breach asked his Jett to dash onto the site and eliminate the heavily concussed opponent. This tip requires a bit of communication with your team, and some agents with movement abilities such as Jett, Neon, Raze, or even Yoru. Also, remember that not only Breach’s ultimate, but all of his abilities have great potential to be combined with his teammates to find much greater success than he could find alone.
